Windshield damage can be frustrating. A windshield crack can create safety issues and even get you a traffic ticket. We understand how important it is to you to get your vehicle safe again, and that’s why we offer fast, reliable, and affordable windshield chip repair.
Windshields don’t always need to be replaced. Our technicians can provide repair solutions to windshields that meet basic requirements. For example, here are some of the main signs that your windshield can be repaired.
- Chips and cracks can fit underneath a nickel.
- The damage isn’t located on the edge of your windshield.
If those basic elements are in place, you’ll be able to qualify for a repair service from our team. There are numerous reasons to let us provide you with repairs if problems exist with your windshield. These include:
- Chip repairs take little time and can be managed by our technicians within 10 minutes in most cases.
- They’re a much more affordable.
- Ignoring a small chip will likely turn into a large crack spreading over your entire glass.
- The cost is far less than a windshield replacement.
- Those splits occur primarily due to heat changes. Sonoma County’s heat can lead to larger damage before you know it.
We use a high quality resin injected into the windshield chip, then carefully cure and polish the resin. The finished result leaves you with a windshield that functions as good as new.
Now, having said all that, please note:
We can’t guarantee that a chip repair will stop a crack from spreading. There could be damage that simply can’t be repaired. We charge $45 for a chip repair. If the crack ends up spreading from that chip and you come back to us for a windshield replacement, we deduct the $45 dollars from the price of the new windshield.
